Public Access Demonstrations

We invite you to check out the following demonstrations as an illustration of the end product of the iArchives process. Please note that these are only examples and that the final product is completely customizable to the “look and feel” that you want your end users to experience. The final product can be delivered as a TIFF file, a PDF file, or any other file type that you may specify. The presentation of the data, as well as the search tools and criteria used to navigate through that data, are adapted to your individual specifications and needs.

Within each demonstration you will want to select a “search term” that you wish to search for. For example, in the newspaper demonstration you may wish to search for the word “Kennedy”. Type this word in the search space provided and hit the enter key or click “search”. You will then be provided with a “hits list” or a list of articles where the word Kennedy is found. Click on one of these “hits,” and the article will then display on your screen. If you then click the “Full Page” button toward the top of the screen, the surrounding context of the full page will fill in around the article, enabling you to see the article in relation to the full page.
